Lila is dedicated to coming to all scheduled practices. She has expressed great leadership in ensuring athletes stay up to date with paperwork/requirements for joining girls swimming. Lila is definitely a motivator for other athletes during practices. Emmanuel set a 20 second personal record at the first to the Finish Invitational at the historic Detwieller Park in Peoria on Saturday. Emmanuel ran 17:28 for 3 Miles, finishing as our second Varsity scorer. His race was a crucial part of the team’s 26th place finish in the tough field of 61 teams. As the city champion on the track Emmanuel running 3 miles does not come naturally to him but tough out the long distance to help his team! |
