Chess Club and Chess Team

The Mather Chess Club is the place to play chess. Whether you know absolutely nothing about the game or are ranked 2200 on chess.com blitz, you are welcome to come by and play!

 

Chess Club meets every Thursday in the library from 3:20 until 4:30. Students are welcome to check out boards from the library during lunch periods as well.

 

Mather's Chess Team participates in tournaments against other school's throughout the year. If you are interested in competitive play, please contact one of the teachers below.
