About Mrs. Garcia

Mrs. Garcia has taught Spanish to Heritage Speakers from level one to A.P., and has served as the World Languages Department Chair since 2015. She’s a product of Chicago Public Schools' Lane Tech College Prep, a graduate of Loyola University Chicago, and National Louis University (graduate school). In addition to Spanish, she has taught American Literature. The following are the additional roles that she serves in: State Seal of Biliteracy Coordinator, and club sponsor for Xplosion Latina, a cultural club that celebrates the folkloric traditions of Latin American countries.
