About Mr. James

I am excited to teach Civics-ELL and US History-ELL again this ye hear.  I am a proud graduate of Lawrence University.  I earned my teaching certificate from the University of Illinois - Chicago (UIC).  I am certified in History, Political Science, and endorsed in ESL, among other things. 

 

I am looking forward to learning about US History and becoming civically engaged with the students in my classes this year.  Plus, I have a senior advisory / homeroom (410) graduating this year!

 

I am also one of the Teacher Representatives on the Mather Local School Council (LSC).  In this role I am also a Co-Chair of the Professional Personnel Leadership Committee (PPLC).  So, if you have any questions or comments about either of these, feel free to contact me.
