About Me

Hi and welcome to my page. My name is Mrs. Tameka Lewis-Morris and I have been a teacher here at Mather for over 20 years. I currently hold a bachelor's degree in Business Education from Chicago State University and a master's degree in Education and Instructional Leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Teaching is not just my occupation but my passion.  I enjoy helping young people discover and learn about who they are and what they want to become. 

 

I teach Exploring Computer Science and Fundamentals of IT (FIT). As you are aware, technology is a fundamental part of our world and continues to transform every aspect of our society.  Preparing our students to participate in this society, require that they are technologically prepared to meet the demands of the workplace or organization that they will enter.  It gives me the utmost pleasure to help our students meet these demands.

 

I sponsor two clubs here at Mather. The African Heritage Club and Girls Who Code.
