- Ms. Valdes is a Chicago transplant originally from Miami, FL so therefore she is an avid chaser of the Heat (both the weather and NBA team) and always on the hunt for the best croquetas and Cuban sandwich outside of the 305. Ms. Valdes is passionate about helping all her students expand their vocabulary, communication, and critical thinking skills, whether those new to the English language or those who've been speaking it since birth (crazy gifted and impressive btw!).
