Meet Mr. Frantz

Welcome to Mr. Frantz' staff directory page. This will be my 25th year of teaching in the Chicago Public Schools. I hold a BS in Education from the Ohio State University and a Master’s in Special Education & ESL from National Louis University. I’ve had the privilege of teaching both middle and high school students, and I love making Social Studies accessible and engaging for everyone. I’ve been married since 2008. We have two kids, two cats, and a dog. Traveling is one of my great passions—In fact, I lived/ studied in Munich, Germany, for two years between 2002-2004! I’ve also had the amazing opportunity to lead delegations of high school students to Australia and Europe through the Dwight D. Eisenhower Foundation’s Student Ambassador Program. My most favorite trip so far has been to Tokyo. That being said-I’m excited to be your teacher and can’t wait to learn together this year!
